Curt Henry joins me on the podcast to discuss his framework for choosing homestead enterprises and how he went about selecting a homestead site for his family.

Curt is a mentor of mine. Someone I want to be like everyday. He is a wonderful family man, accomplished athlete, and astute businessman.

The main takeaways we learned from Curt in this show are:

1. His target customer avatar - Double income, health/eco conscious, weekend warriors who are willing to spend money on good food and want the experience of knowing where it comes from.

2. His framework for selecting enterprises to fit in the family homestead.

a. Span Multiple Generations
b. Business to Consumer
c. Community Building
c. Multiple Revenue Streams
d. Value Added
e. Recession Proof

3. His approach to educating himself on this journey. Hint: It's not about what you know, it's about who you can call on for help.
